1. Open Services for UNIX Administration.
2. If necessary, connect to the remote computer you want to manage.
3. Click Telnet Server.
4. Click the Server Settings tab.
5. Click Disconnect idle client sessions after, and then, in the boxes provided, type a value in hours, minutes, or seconds.
6. To save the settings, click Apply.

• To open Services for UNIX Administration, click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows Services for UNIX, and then click Services for UNIX Administration.

• To set the idle-session time-out interval, at a command prompt, type:

  tnadmin [computer] config timeoutactive=yes tnadmin [computer] config timeout=hh:mm:ss

• To prevent disconnecting idle sessions, at a command prompt, type:

  tnadmin [computer] config timeoutactive=no

Argument	Description
computer	The name of the remote computer you want to manage.
hh:mm:ss	The time-out period in hours, minutes, and seconds.
