If necessary, connect to the remote computer you want to
manage.
Click Telnet Server.
Click the Server Settings tab.
Click Interpret CTRL+A as ALT.
Click Apply to save the settings.
Notes
To open Services for UNIX Administration, click Start,
point to Programs, point to Windows Services for
UNIX, and then click Services for UNIX
Administration.
Changing this setting does not affect current sessions, only
sessions created after the setting was changed.
If you do not select Interpret CTRL+A as ALT, Telnet
Server will be unable to send the ALT key to applications that may
rely on the ALT key. When this is selected, users send the ALT key
to applications by pressing CTRL+A.
This setting does not affect Telnet clients whose terminal type
is set to VTNT. These clients can use the ALT key directly.
