To switch to and from command mode

• At a prompt, type one of the following:

  To switch to command mode, press CTRL+] at the Telnet session prompt.

  To switch to session mode, press ENTER at the Telnet command prompt.

Note

• CTRL+] is the default escape sequence. If you change the escape sequence, type the new sequence to switch to command mode.
