1. Open Services for UNIX Administration.
2. If necessary, connect to the computer you want to manage.
3. Click Server for NFS.
4. Click the Locking tab.
5. In the list of clients, click the client whose locks you want to release, click Release Locks, and then click Apply.

• To open Services for UNIX Administration, click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows Services for UNIX, and then click Services for UNIX Administration.

• At a command prompt, do one of the following:
  • To list all locks, type:

    nfsadmin server [\\remoteMachineName] –l

  • To release locks, type:

    nfsadmin server [\\remoteMachineName] –r [client | all]

Argument	Description
client	The client whose locks you want to release.
all	Releases all locks.
