1. Open Services for UNIX Administration.
2. If necessary, connect to the computer you want to manage.
3. Click Server for NFS.
4. Click the Server Settings tab.
5. Select the Enable NFS v3 support check box.
6. To save the settings, click Apply.

• These changes will not take effect until Server for NFS is restarted. For information on how to stop and start Server for NFS, see Related Topics.

Note

• To open Services for UNIX Administration, click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows Services for UNIX, and then click Services for UNIX Administration.

• At a command prompt, type:

  nfsadmin server [\\remoteMachineName] config enablev3={yes | no}

Argument	Description
remoteMachineName	The name of the computer you want to manage.

• To view the complete syntax for this command, at a command prompt, type:

• nfsadmin server /?

• NFS v3 support is enabled by default.
