What's new

Several important new features have been added to the Interix Software Development Kit (SDK) in Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.0.

• New dynamic shared libraries for the standard libraries in /usr/lib (for example, libc.so, libm.so, and libcurses.so) and in /usr/X11R5/lib (for example, libX11.so and libXt.so).
• gcc and ld support for creating dynamic shared libraries.
• Support for symbolic links.
• Single-rooted hierarchical file system.
• ARG_MAX increased to 1 MB.
