Using Gateway for NFS Configuration

Gateway for NFS Configuration is a Windows program you can use to set up shares, set default permissions for files, control the number of users allowed on a share, and disconnect NFS shares.

Before you use Gateway for NFS Configuration, you must specify the name of the mapping server you want to use. For instructions on how to specify the mapping server to use for authentication, see To set up authentication using User Name Mapping.

To open Gateway for NFS Configuration, click here. You can also open Gateway for NFS Configuration by clicking Start, pointing to Programs, pointing to Windows Services for UNIX, and then clicking Gateway for NFS Configuration.
