1. Open Add/Remove Programs or Add or Remove Programs.
2. Click Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX.
3. In Windows NT, click Add/Remove; in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, click Change.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Add or remove, and then click Next.
6. In the Components list, click the plus sign (+) next to NFS.
7. Click Gateway for NFS, and then click Entire feature will not be available.
8. Click Client for NFS, click Will be installed on local hard drive, and then click Next.
9. Follow the remaining instructions in the Wizard.

Notes

• To open Add/Remove Programs or Add or Remove Programs, do one of the following:
  • In Windows NT or Windows 2000, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  • In Windows XP, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
• Client for NFS cannot be run from a network server. All files must be installed on the local computer.
• You cannot install Gateway for NFS and Client for NFS on the same computer.

• At a command prompt, type:

  msiexec /i sfusetup.msi /qb addlocal="NFSClient"

• For this command to work, the file sfusetup.msi must exist in the directory from which you run the command. If sfusetup.msi is in a different directory, include the full path.
