Importing Hyena Configuration Information

 

If your organization is using Hyena (http://www.systemtools.com/hyena) to manage its Windows-based network,  the current configuration layout in Hyena can be imported into Exporter Pro by using the Configuration->Import Hyena Object File... menu option.  

To import Hyena's object configuration, simply enter in the name and path to the AD_OBJECTS.DAT file from Hyena.  Use the browse button (...) to help in finding the location of this file.

  • The imported object information is added to any existing object information already in the current export configuration.

  • The original file being imported is not affected by this operation.

  • You may also import a list of objects from any text file provided that it follows a specific file format.  See the File Formats topic for more information.
