Changing Your Application Password

  1. Open the application's Change Password window. The Change Password dialog appears.

  2. You have two options:

  3. Select Automatically pick a new password for me, then click Submit. TAM ESSO generates a new, randomly generated password for the application. Check the application's message to make certain it has accepted the new password. You will never need to remember this password because TAM E-SSO will enter it for you automatically the next time you log on.

  1. When this option is selected, the New Password, Confirm and Password Policy Status fields become active. Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm text boxes.

Note the list of rules under Password Policy Status. Your new password must comply with each of these rules in order to be valid. As you type your password, the rules it complies with are automatically checked. When all of the rules are checked, your password is valid.

Tip: Click Reveal to see the password you entered.

Tip: The "Special Characters Allowed" policy indicates the special characters that are allowed to be used in a password. If special characters are not allowed, this policy states: "Special Characters allowed: None."

  1. Click Submit. On the application's password window, TAM E-SSO submits your password change request. Check the application's message to make certain it has accepted the new password.

Tip: The Submit button will not become active until all password policies have been met.

  1. After TAM E-SSO submits the new password, click OK in the Change Password window.
