Turn on the Welcome screen

The Windows Welcome screen helps simplify the logon process for users by displaying a list of all user names on that computer when Windows XP starts. When a Windows SteadyState computer is connected to a domain network, this setting is unavailable.

Note:
The Welcome screen cannot be turned off in Windows Vista.
