Changing Settings for Scheduled Collections

After you set up a scheduled collection, you can:

•	View scheduled collections on computers where an RDC is deployed

•	Edit scheduled collection properties for individual collections

•	Change the credentials and scheduling information for one or more collections at the same time

You cannot edit a scheduled collection when it is currently running.

You can cancel a running collection by right-clicking the collection and clicking Cancel.

To view scheduled collections

1.	Expand Reporting | Collections | Scheduled Collections.

2.	Select a computer where an RDC is installed.

The scheduled collections assigned to the RDC are displayed in the upper-right pane.

To edit scheduled collection properties for individual collections

1.	Expand Reporting | Collections | Scheduled Collections.

2.	Select a computer where an RDC is installed.

3.	In the upper-right pane, right-click the scheduled collection, and select Properties.

4.	Click the following tabs to change properties:

Computer Selection	Change the authentication method to your database.
Data Transport Mode	Change the transport mode.
General Collection Information	Change the collection description.
Configuration Baselining Category Selection	Change the configuration baselining categories for which you want to collect data.
Object Selection	Change the objects on which you collect information.
Report Template Selection	Change the report templates used to collect data.
Configuration Baselining Template Selection	Change the configuration baselining templates for which you want to collect data.

5.	Click Apply.

Click OK.

To modify the email notification settings, right-click the scheduled collection in the Console treeview and select Schedule. This launches the Modify Scheduled Collection Wizard.

To change credentials and scheduling information for one or more collections

1.	Expand Reporting | Collections | Scheduled Collections.

2.	Select a computer where an RDC is installed.

3.	In the upper-right pane, select the scheduled collections you want to modify, and select Schedule.

You will be prompted to confirm that you want to replace the current settings.

4.	Click Yes to launch the Modify Scheduled Collections wizard.

5.	Click Next.

6.	Enter the user name and password to use for the scheduled collections you selected in step 3.

These credentials are used to run the scheduled collections.

7.	Re-enter the password to confirm and click Next.

8.	If you want to change the schedule for these collections, select Change schedule for selected collection(s) and enter the new scheduling information.

9.	Click Next.

The new scheduling information will be applied to all the collections you have selected. They will all run at the same time as per the revised schedule and time.

10.	Click Next.

11.	Review the settings, then click Finish.
