Creating New Tasks

To create a new Database Maintenance task

1.	Right-click on the upper pane of the maintenance tab of the Database Maintenance tool and select New Task.

– OR – 

Click the New button in the toolbar.

The Database Maintenance Wizard will appear.

2.	Provide a name and description for the task in the text boxes provided.

3.	Choose a Maintenance task (see Maintenance Tasks)

Choose a Data Aging Task (see Data Aging Tasks)
