The General Information tab
provides two panes of information. The upper pane displays the
database properties and the lower pane displays information
regarding the tables that comprise the selected database.
The information provided in the
General tab is not modifiable through the Database tool and is
intended to allow administrators to access all of the information
about the database in a single location.
The lower pane displays table
specific information for the selected database. By reviewing
the table and index sizes and the number of rows for a given table,
administrators can quickly determine the best course of action for
their database maintenance.
The tables presented in the
lower pane can be exported to a file in several formats
including: Excel, HTML, PDF, Web Archive, RTF, plain text, or
XML.
