Getting Information About Your Enterprise

This document has been prepared to assist you in becoming familiar with Quest Reporter, a Quest Migration Suite for Active Directory product. The User Guide contains the information required to use Quest Reporter. It is intended for internal and external auditors, network administrators, consultants, analysts, and any other IT professionals using the product.

Reporter ships with many predefined report templates that collect different types of network information. Reporter can collect information from the following sources:

•	Windows NT Security Accounts Manager (SAM)

•	Active Directory

•	Active Directory security (ACLs)

•	Windows NTFS (folders, files, space used)

•	Windows NTFS security (ACLs)

•	Server and workstation configuration
