Editing a property

Every object in the console has a set of properties. A property is an attribute of the object. The Selected Object's Properties dialog box is a hierarchical display with the attributes or parameters in tree mode. The attributes or parameters change based on the object type. You can modify some of the attributes and parameters. The Node Properties attributes are read-only and cannot be edited.

To edit a property, you can select an object and do either of the following:

Right-click and select Properties in the submenu
Select the Properties icon in the lower toolbar

To edit a property

Right-click on an object and select Properties.
In the Selected Object's Properties dialog box, select a property.
In the Modify Property Value dialog box, modify the property.
Click OK to apply the changes.
