Licenses that are added to Radmin Server are automatically activated. The activation process can be performed online, manually from our Internet site or by contacting our sales department. Online activation requires an active Internet connection which will allow HTTP requests from Radmin Server to Famatech Activation Server. The license code can be added directly to Radmin Server or transferred to it from any Radmin Viewer.
During activation Radmin Server will generate a hardware ID of the computer it is installed on. This hardware ID is based on the computer's hardware components (motherboard, processor, etc). This ID will be sent to Famatech Activation Server along with the specified license code, and an activated license will be returned that allows Radmin Server to be used only on the computer with the corresponding hardware ID.
Significant changes to the computer's hardware configuration will change its hardware ID, which may force Radmin Server to suggest that the computer is different from the one the program was licensed to run on. Two types of licenses are available:
Permits activation and use of Radmin Server. One license of this type should be added to Radmin Server in order to use it. This license can include multiple connections.
Increases the maximum number of allowed simultaneous incoming connections. Licenses of this type can be added to the Radmin Server in order to increase the number of users who can connect to it.
This license is not valid if there is no Product License already added to the Radmin Server.

You can activate Radmin Server offline remotely using Radmin Server command-line switches and Radmin Viewer command-line switches.
If Radmin Server is installed on a computer without an active Internet connection, you can transfer the activation code to it from any Radmin Viewer installed on a computer with an active Internet connection.

The following error messages can appear if activation fails:
Radmin Server was unable to communicate with Famatech Activation Server on the internet. Make sure that you have active internet connection and it is configured correctly to allow outgoing HTTP request (TCP port 80). Make sure that your network, firewall and router settings are correct.
Network data received from Famatech Activation Server is corrupted. Please ensure that your network, firewall and router settings are correct and all HTTP request / responses are not being modified.
Radmin Server was unable to save activation information to the computer's registry. Make sure that system security is configured correctly.
Radmin Server was activated successfully.
Radmin Server was unable to obtain hardware information about your computer. Make sure that you are using latest and compatible drivers for all hardware devices. Make sure that system security setting are configured correctly. Try to temporarily disable any virtual devices.
Radmin Server was unable to allocate sufficient system resources. Make sure that your system is configured correctly. Try to reboot your computer and temporarily close all running programs.
Radmin Server license file is corrupted. Make sure that it was not corrupted or altered. Try to repeat activation process.
License code entered was already used to activate Radmin Server on the different computer. Please contact Famatech technical support.
Radmin Server was unable to open activation request file or license file. Make sure that this file has correct security settings. Make sure that your system has correct security settings. Scan your HDD for errors.
Radmin Server was unable to save a file. Make sure that your system has correct security settings. Scan your HDD for errors.
Activation request file specified has invalid format. Make sure that it was not corrupted or altered.
License code entered is not valid. Make sure you have entered it correctly. Try to use copy-paste and make sure no additional spaces, tabulation symbols and/or characters are present either at beggining or at the end of license code string.
License code entered is intended for different software. If you have multiple license codes from Famatech, make sure you are using correct one. Please contact Famatech technical support for details.
License code was already used to activate Radmin Server on the maximum number of computers allowed by the license. Please contact Famatech technical support for details.
Radmin Server installed on this computer was already activated using Product License. Use 'Additional Connections License' to increases the maximum number of allowed simultaneous incoming connections.
