Choosing Radmin Server startup mode

Radmin Server can be set to start automatically upon Windows startup or manually via the Start menu shortcut. If Radmin Server starts automatically, users can connect to a remote computer after it has been restarted. Automatic startup also lets you connect if no user is logged in. Manual startup mode lets you start the program only when needed; this can improve overall security. But in most cases, 'automatic' startup mode is preferable.

To select startup mode:
  1. Access Radmin Server settings; the 'Settings' window will appear ( illustration).
  2. Click on the Startup mode button to display the 'Set startup mode' window ( illustration).
  3. Select Automatic to start Radmin Server automatically upon Windows startup or Manual to start it manually. Click on the OK button to confirm your selection.
