Device Group Properties

Use this page to modify the properties of a device group.

• Group Name. Modify the group name as desired.
• Description. Enter a short description of the group.

If using the Web interface dialog:

• Group access rights. Select the User name for which you want to change access rights.
• Group access rights for:. Select the access rights you want to apply to the selected group. For more information, see About Group Access Rights.

  Important: If Group Access Rights are currently disabled, you can enable them in the Manage Users dialog (Go > Configure > Manage Users).
  If you are using a WhatsUp Gold distributed solution and want to enable Group Access Rights for Remote Sites, you can enable them in the Configure Remote Sites dialog (GO > Configure > Configure Remote Sites).

• Apply changes to all sub Device Group recursively for:. Select this option to have the selected user's group access rights propagate to all sub device groups (children).
