Group - Performance: Interface Utilization

This report displays interface utilization information collected during the selected time period from the device/interface in the group that appears at the top of the report. You can configure the data collection for your interfaces through Device Properties > Performance Monitors > Configure Interface Data Collection.

Report Body

Below the date/time picker is a table showing interface utilization across the current group for the selected time period.

• Device. The name and IP address of the device.
• Description. The label for the interface being shown.
• Transmit %. The percentage of available bandwidth used by this interface in transmitting data.
• Receive %. The percentage of available bandwidth used by this interface in receiving data.
• Avg. Transmit. The average number of kilobits transmitted through the interface.
• Avg. Receive. The average number of kilobits received through the interface.
• Bytes Transmitted. The total number of kilobits transmitted through the interface.
• Bytes Received. The total number of kilobits received by the interface.

Note: Click the device name to access the Device Status report, and click the description to view the Interface report for that interface.

Split Second Graphs

In WhatsUp Gold, hovering over a device's description in the Description column of the report brings up a bubble window that displays a Split Second Graph specific to that device for this report.

Use the date/time picker at the top of the report to select a date range. The date and time format for the date on this report matches the format specified in Program Options > Regional.

Navigation

You can change the group you are viewing by clicking the group name in the application bar at the top of the page.

You can change to another group report by selecting one from the More Group Reports pull-down menu.

Printing

You can print a fully formatted report through your browser by clicking the print icon in the browser's toolbar, or selecting File > Print from the browser's menu.

Icons

Export	Click this icon to export a report. This function only works when JavaScript is enabled on your browser. The report can be exported to text or to Microsoft Excel.
Favorites	Click this icon to add the current report to your Favorites list. These reports can be accessed quickly through the Favorites folder of the Web Interface Go Menu.
