General: Database Size
This home-level workspace report provides
graphical illustration of the database size at the time of the last
poll. Placing this workspace report in a workspace will allow you
to view your database size quickly, even from across the room.
The graph uses color to show the current
status:
. Above
75%
.
Between 50% and 75%
. 50%
or less
Under the graph, the database size is listed in
MBs, along with the percentages for used and free space.
:These
graphs will only show for MSDE databases, as SQL databases have no
size limitations.
Configure this workspace report:
- From the workspace report menu, select

- . Enter a title for the workspace report.
- . Select the type of graph you would like the report
to display.

3-D pie graph that displays available database space in green, and
used space in red.

A semi-circle graph (much like a car speedometer) with a pointer
that indicates the database percentage used.
- r. A horizontal bar graph (much like a ruler) with a
pointer that indicates the database percentage used.
- . A vertical bar graph (much like a thermometer) with a
pointer that indicates the database percentage used.

A numerical representation of the database percentage used. The
percentage is displayed in colors that coincide with the WhatsUp
threshold colors:
Along with the various types of graphs to
choose from, you can also pick the display size of the graph
(small, medium, or large).
