Add New Device

Enter the host name or IP address of the device you want to add.

• To change the device Group to which the device is added, you can use the browse button to the right of the Group option to select a group.
• Click Advanced to choose active and performance monitors to use in scanning the device, and to apply the proper credentials.
• Click OK to start the discovery scan on that device.
• Use the Browse (...) button to pick a group in which to add the new device.
• Select Add device immediately without scanning to add a device without scanning for the device. This immediately adds a "bare-bones" device, generically categorized as a workstation.

Note: There is no restriction on the number of times you can add a single device.
