Action Policies
The Action Policy dialog shows the action
policies that you can assign to any device or monitor. This is
where you create a new action policy, modify an existing policy, or
delete a policy.
To open the Action Policies, from the
menu bar:
From this dialog, you can:
- . Click
Use the Add/Edit Action Policy dialog to create a
policy.
- . Select the policy you want to change and
click Use the Add/Edit
Action Policy dialog to edit the policy.
- . To create a copy of an action policy so you can
base a new policy on the setup information of an existing one,
select the action policy and click . You can then edit the new copy as
needed.
- . Select the policy you want to remove and click
This deletes the
policy and removes it from use on any devices or monitors to which
it is assigned, though it does not remove the actions configured
under the policy. Also, any record in the Action Log for this
action policy is deleted.
