If media is not removed from the robot's media access port (MAP) and a timeout condition occurs, the job fails with status code 338 (vault eject timed out). If this occurs, the Vault reports do not accurately reflect the status of the media.

To recover, you should use the Vault Operator Menu (vltopmenu) or the vlteject command to eject the media that was not removed from the library and generate the reports.
