The Bare Metal Restore Mapping Wizards help you map partitions and volumes on a protected system to new disks. The new disks may be on the same system (as in a dissimilar disk restore) or on a different system (dissimilar system restore, Windows clients only).

The screens that appear and their sequence depend on what you are map, the operating system, and the volume or the disk manager that manages the storage devices. The wizards guide you through the mapping process, showing only the screens required.
