Use the Linux volume group map options to determine how a volume group is recreated.
Options are as follows:
Recreate the volume group exactly as the original and map the volumes in it.
If you select this option, a Finish button appears. Click Finish to begin the mapping after which the Mapping Summary screen appears.
Recreate the volume group in different physical volumes and try to map the volumes in it.
Use this option to select different disks on which the physical volumes are created. The wizard then recreates the logical volumes on the new volume group.
Recreate the volume group in different physical volumes only.
Use this option to select different disks on which to create the physical volumes for the volume group; you must map the logical volumes within the volume group manually.
If some (or all) of the physical volumes of the volume group are created on multidevices, BMR recreates them either on disks or partition but not on multidevices; therefore, the resulting volume group does not have the RAID capabilities of multidevices.
