Configuring the log on account for the NetBackup Client Service

By default, the NetBackup Client Service uses "Local System" account to log on as. A different account is required for the following operations: MAPI mailbox and public folder items backups (Exchange 2007 and earlier) and any operations that use Granular Recovery Technology (GRT).

Change the service account to the Windows domain account that you previously created. To change this account, you must have administrator group privileges.

See Configuring the NetBackup service account (Exchange 2010).
