Column Layout dialog box

This dialog box lets you configure which columns to display and arrange the order in which the columns appear.

To set or change the column layout, you must be in the details view. On the shortcut menu, click View > Details.

Icons are provided so that you can make changes quickly. When you move the pointer over an icon, a pop-up appears that describes its function.

The columns you can display depend on the agents and options you installed. The general columns are as follows:

To set or change the column layout

  1. Right-click in the Contents pane, then click Columns > Layout.

  2. Select a Heading item and click the following icons to change the column layout:

    Justify Left

    Left justifies the data in the selected columns.

    You can also type Ctrl+L.

    Justify Center

    Centers the data in the selected column.

    You can also type Ctrl+C.

    Justify Right

    Right justifies the data in the selected column.

    You can also type Ctrl+R.

    Show Column

    Shows the selected column so it appears in the display.

    You can also type Ctrl+S.

    Hide Column

    Hides the selected column.

    You can also type Ctrl+H.

    Move Up

    Moves the selected column to the left in the display order.

    You can also type Ctrl+U.

    Move Down

    Moves the selected column to the right in the display order.

    You can also type Ctrl+D.

  3. Repeat for each heading or column you want to change.

  4. After all changes are made, click OK.
