Select ESX server dialog box (restore to alternate location)

You can enter the name of the ESX server, or drill down in the list to select a server.

Specify ESX server

Enter the fully qualified name of the ESX server in this field.
Search

Click Search to display a list of available ESX servers that are on the vCenter server. Drill into the list and place a check mark beside an ESX server.

Note:

Some older ESX servers may not support the version of the virtual machine that you want to restore. Verify that the ESX server is compatible with the virtual machine.
