To browse to the appropriate client directories and select image database files to restore, you must understand the following directory structures:

• db\images (Windows)

• db/images (UNIX)

NetBackup must be installed and configured, along with the following components:

• Any agents or options that were used to back up the critical policy data you want restored.

• Media servers that contain the backup images (for disk storage units).

• Media servers that control the storage devices that contain the removable media with the backup images that you want restored.

• Storage devices that contain the removable media with the backup images that you want restored.
