Viewing the backup, archive, or restore status

Use the following procedure to view the progress of a backup, archive, or restore on the client.

To view the status of a backup, archive, or a restore

  1. Click File > View Status or click the View Status icon.

  2. Select the operation or task to view its progress.

  3. Click Refresh.

    The status appears in the Operation Status column.

  4. Select a refresh interval from the Refresh Rate dialog box.

    The default setting is 5 seconds.

  5. To view more than abbreviated progress messages, click Verbose.
