Backup
Policy and Schedule dialog box
This dialog box appears
when you configure the NetBackup Client
Properties, or when you back up from the client
(user-directed operation).

Backup Policy
|
Enter the backup policy to use for the current backup
operation.
If you use any (the default),
NetBackup uses the first policy it finds with both the client name
and a user-directed backup schedule.

Backup Schedule
|
Enter the backup schedule to use for the current backup
operation.
If you use any (the default),
NetBackup uses the first policy it finds with both a user-directed
backup schedule and the client name.

Archive Policy
|
Enter the archive policy to use for the current backup
operation.
If you use any (the default),
NetBackup uses the first policy it finds with both the client name
and a user-directed archive schedule.

Archive Schedule
|
Enter the archive schedule to use for the current backup
operation.
If you use any (the default),
NetBackup uses the first policy it finds with both a user-directed
archive schedule and the client name.

Click to save changes and close the dialog box.
|
|
|
Click to cancel any changes and close the dialog box.
|
