Select the media servers that connect to the disk array and share the storage. All NetBackup media servers appear in the list.

All NetBackup media servers that share a disk pool must be the same computer type (such as all Solaris or all Linux).

For SharedDisk storage, NetBackup media servers function as both data movers and storage servers. (A storage server is an entity that writes data to and reads data from disk storage.) The wizard scans the media servers you select for the disk arrays that have LUNs that are allocated to NetBackup. The LUNs also must be formatted. The LUNs are added to the NetBackup disk pool.
