Backup Exec media may be password-protected. If administrator does not provide the correct password the job fails with an appropriate error. The logs indicate that either no password or a wrong password was provided. If the media is not password-protected and the user provides a password, the password that the user provides is ignored. If the password contains non-ASCII characters, the media can be imported only by using a NetBackup Windows interface or by using the bpimport command.
