Use the Start Window to
define a window of time to start backups, which are based on this
schedule. The windows are preset in the wizard, but can be
customized through the Policies
utility.
Scheduled window options
The Scheduled window
options include the following:
Select the Off hours options so
that automatic backups start during what are normally considered
nonworking hours.
Select the Working hours option
so that automatic backups can start during normal working
hours.
Select the All day option so
that backups can occur at any time during the week.
Select the Custom option to
configure windows by using the Custom
Settings.
User window options
If the policy is for a catalog backup,
User Window selections are
disabled.
Select the Off hours option so
that user backups can start during what are normally considered
nonworking hours.
Select the Working Hours option
so that user backups can start during normal working hours.
Select the All day option so
that backups can occur at any time during the week.
Custom setting options
The following are the Custom setting options:
Use the Day option to select
the day of the week when the backups can start.
Use the Start option to select
the time of day when backups can start.
Use the Duration option to
select how long the window remains open so backups can start.
