This wizard configures volumes for standalone drives and robots but does not support volume configuration for the following devices:
Robots that have more than one type of drive.
A robot has more than one type of drive if one drive writes the media that the other drives cannot read or write.
Included in this limitation are the drives that are different versions of the same family of drives. For example, a robot with a Quantum DLT7000 and a DLT8000 drive has different drive types. The DLT8000 drive is of DLT2 type, and it can read the tapes that a DLT7000 drive writes. However, the DLT7000 drive is of DLT type, and it cannot read the tapes the DLT8000 drive writes.
