Step 1 |
Stop and disable the Portmapper service. |
Before you install NFS on the media server or client(s), look for the ONC Portmapper service. If it exists, stop it and disable it. Otherwise, the installation of NFS Services for Windows fails. |

You can disable the Client for NFS on the NetBackup media server. See Disabling the Client for NFS on the media server. If the Active Directory domain controller or ADAM/LDS host resides on the media server, do not disable the Client for NFS. |
