Viewing the permissions of a specific user

The permissions that are granted to each of the NBU User Groups correlate to the name of the authorization object. The NBU default User Groups include the NBU_Operator, NBU_Admin, NBU_SAN Admin, NBU_User, NBU_Security Admin, and Vault_Operator.

To view specific user permissions

  1. In the NetBackup Administration Console, select NBU User Groups under the Access Management item.

  2. Double click the appropriate NBU_Operator, NBU_Admin, NBU_SAN Admin, NBU_User, NBU_Security Admin, or Vault_Operator in the Security window.

  3. In the NBU_Operator window, select the Permissions tab.

  4. From the list, select the authorization object you want.
