If “Your download could not be completed” or "Check your Internet connection" is displayed when downloading a file, there may be a problem with your Internet connection.
To check your Internet connection:
· Make sure that all wires are connected (for example, make sure your modem is connected to a working phone line, either directly or indirectly through a router).
· Check your router is working properly. Some routers are not compatible with all operating systems.
· Check your proxy settings. See Proxy settings for more information.
· Check your firewall settings. See Firewall settings for more information.
· Check your network connections in the Windows Control Panel.
If these do not resolve the issue, check with your administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP).
