Viewing a Server's Replication Jobs

You can view the Replication Jobs on each server.  

To view Replication Jobs on each server

  1. Create a Replication Job.

  2. In the Scope pane, select a server that the Replication Job was replicated to.

The Replication Jobs appear in the Result pane.

Column

Description

Replication Object

The name of the item(s) being replicated.

Object Type

The type of data being replicated.

Type of Job

Either Cascading or Peer-to-Peer.

Source Server

The server that is the source of data for replication.

Target Server

The server that is the target of data for replication.

Status

Status of the Replication Job:

  • Unassigned - the job is being created on the Replication Administration Server

  • Assigned - the job is being assigned to the target server(s)

  • Busy - the job is being executed

  • Done - the job has successfully completed

  • Error - the job did not execute due to an error

  • Done-Assigned - a recurring job has been successfully executed and is waiting for it's next execution.

  • Error-Assigned - a recurring job has an error and is waiting for it's next execution.

Executed

Date and time when the package was last executed for replication.  

Defined only if a scheduled date and time has been set.

Job ID

Unique ID that identifies the Replication Job to the system.

Date

The earliest date and time the job can be executed.

Recurrence

Scheduled recurrence of the execution of the package. Defined only if a recurrence schedule has been set.
