You can change the parent server of a child server. This action moves the server from the old parent to the new parent server in the Replication Tree.
To set a new parent server
Right-click the server you want to change the parent server for, and select Set Parent.
The Set Replication Parent dialog box appears displaying the Replication Tree.
Select the new parent server in the tree, and click OK.
The server is moved to the new parent server in the tree.
