On a new Configuration Server, you must be the Site Primary Administrator to start the Command Center for the first time. Subsequently, any administrator with an account on a Configuration Server can start the Command Center.
To start the Command Center for the first time
From the Start menu, choose Programs > Symantec > LiveState Delivery 6.0 Command Center > Command Center.
You can restart from either an .msc file, the Windows Program menu, or within MMC.
You can display multiple Command Center windows and navigate in and between them.
When you close the Command Center, you can save a snapshot of its current state. All the servers that you previously added to the Command Center together with their computer, computer group, package profile, and administrator information are saved. Tip
Use File > Save to save the file named Command Center.msc or use Save As to specify a different name and create a new instance of the Command Center.
Note: If servers have activities running, you must deal with those activities before you exit Command Center.
Warning: If you are working in a secondary Command Center window, do not, by accident, close the primary Command Center window. When you close the secondary window, you will be prompted to save it as an .msc file. If you save the secondary window as an .msc file, all of your Command Center settings will be lost and you will have to recreate your server list and all of the console settings.
