Scope Pane

The Scope pane appears at the left side of the Command Center window. It displays hierarchical tree view of the Command Center items. The Scope pane is also known as the Console tree.

Scope Pane Item	Description
Command Center	Enables you to: Show/Hide the Replication Administration Set the Replication Administration Server Connect to LiveUpdate to install the latest version of the Command Center
Replication Administration	Displayed only if you select Show Replication Administration from Command Center. Enables you to replicate data from one server to another.
Site Administration	Enables you to mange servers throughout your sites by: Manage the server list Connect and disconnect all servers simultaneously Lock the Command Center Set Site Administration Properties
Server	After you have added a Configuration Server in the Command Center, this item appears in the Scope pane. It enables you to: Connect and disconnect the server Remove the from the list of managed servers. Set server specific properties.
Computer	A subitem of the Server item. It enables you to: Add single or multiple computers to the Configuration Server Create computer groups
Profiles	A subitem of the Server item. It enables you to: Create and modify Package Profiles
Packages	A subitem of the Server item. It enables you to: View assignable packages View unassignable packages View packages by package type View package dependencies View package classes Deploy packages to computers
Administrators	A subitem of the Server item. It enables you to: Add and remove administrators Change administrator passwords
Enterprise View	A permanent default item that displays a cumulative list of all computers, profiles, packages, and administrators from all individual servers that are currently connected to the Command Center.
Activities	A permanent default item that reports activities being performed on one or more computers. It enables you to: Monitor administrative actions as they are being performed Clear tasks that have failed Rerun tasks
