Mouse Actions

The Command Center window supports the following mouse actions:

Mouse Actions in the Scope Pane

Mouse Action	Result
Click an expandable item name	Selects the item. Displays the item’s contents in the Result pane. Unless otherwise noted, these are the item’s subitems.
Click a non-expandable item name	Selects the item. Displays the item’s contents in the Result pane.
Double-click an expandable item name	Selects and expands a collapsed item. Selects and collapses an expanded item. Displays the subitems in the Result pane.
Click the plus sign (+) expansion button	Expands the selected item.
Click the minus sign (-) expansion button	Collapses the selected item.
Right-click the plus or minus sign expansion button	Displays a combined table of contents that includes general Help for MMC and Help specific to the Command Center.

Mouse Action	Result
Ctrl-click	Selects multiple individual items
Shift-click	Selects multiple consecutive items
Click an item in a multi-selection	Loses the multi-selection and selects the clicked item
Double-click a single item	Unless otherwise noted the following will happen: In the Scope pane the item’s parent will be expanded, if not already expanded. In the Scope pane the item will be selected (highlighted in gray). In the Result pane the item’s contents will be displayed.
