The Agent for Windows access is granted to computers as soon as the number of active computers falls below the maximum permitted number.
Exception Handling controls the behavior of the Agent for Windows when it attempts to run a job, but the maximum number of simultaneously active computers has been reached.
To set the number of simultaneously active computers
In the Scope pane, expand Site Administration.
Right-click the server and choose Properties.
On the Network Load Control tab, select the maximum number of computers in the Maximum number of simultaneously active computers: drop-down list box.
You can select a number from 1 to <number of computers on the server> or select All Computers.
