Allowing a User to Postpone Actions

You can set each computer so that the user is allowed to postpone actions of the Agent for Windows. The user is asked whether or not to postpone all of the actions or individual actions of the agent. Symantec LiveState Delivery may then postpone further actions as needed. Non-postponed actions are executed.

Note:  System component actions cannot be postponed.

To define a computer-specific postponement of actions:

  1. Right-click the computer name in the Scope pane.

  2. Select Edit Computer Properties.

  3. On the Boot and Security tab, select the Ask user check box to allow the user to postpone actions when the computer's Agent for Windows starts.

  4. Click OK to save the changes.
