There may be occasions when you need to remotely reboot computers. For example, a computer may have experienced a network failure during the installation of a vendor package leaving the mouse and keyboard still locked.
You can only reboot computers whose status displays as Active in the Result pane.
To reboot computers
In the Scope pane, expand Computers and click All Computers to display the computers in the Result pane.
In the Result pane, Shift-click or Ctrl-click the computers that you want to reboot.
Right-click one of the selected computers, and click Reboot.
In the Reboot Computers dialog box listing the selected computers, click OK. The computers are rebooted and an Activity is launched.
