Deleting Computers

When a computer is deleted from a Configuration Server, it is automatically removed from any computer group to which it belongs.

When you delete a computer you can choose to retain its HOME directory folder.

To delete computers

  1. In the Scope pane, expand Computers then All Computers or a computer group to display the member computers in the Result pane.

  2. In the Result pane, Shift-click or Ctrl-click the computer name(s) that you want to delete.

  3. Right-click one of the selected computers.

  4. Click Delete from Server.

  5. In the Delete Computers dialog box, set the Delete computer's HOME directory folder option.

This is the default setting. When you delete the computer, Symantec LiveState Delivery deletes the computer's folder from Symantec > LiveState.

Unselected

Symantec LiveState Delivery deletes the computer, but saves the computer's folder in Symantec > LiveState.

You may want to choose this option if the folder contains viable information you want to preserve.

  1. Click OK.

  2. The Activities window displays the status and description of the Delete task as it is being executed.

If the computers are not locked by another instance of the Command Center, Symantec LiveState Delivery deletes the computers from the Configuration Server.

500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@systemmanager.forsenergy.ru to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
