Adding a Single Computer

You can add a computer as consistent mode or cooperative mode. You make this determination in the identification data.

To add a single computer to a Configuration Server

  1. Expand the server, then expand the Computers or All Computers.

  2. Right-click Computers or All Computers, and choose Add Single Computer

  3. In the New Computer: Properties dialog box,

  4. provide identification data

  5. provide boot and security properties

  6. indicate whether the computer will be partitioned and formatted by Symantec LiveState Delivery or externally Fdisk partitioned

The new managed computer appears in the Scope pane under All Computers.

Next, partition and format the computer.
