Managing Activities in the Scope Pane

When you right-click an individual Activity in the Scope pane as a subitem of the Activities item, the following menu commands are available:

In the Scope pane, expand Activities and right-click an activity.

Select...

To...

Clear All

Clears all of the computer's activities and deletes the task.

If processing is not complete on one or more computers, the Confirm Deletion of Activity dialog box appears.

Warning:  When you select Clear All to delete an activity, computers that do not have a status of Done, Cancelled, or Error remain in their last state, which may, for example, be locked.

Clear "Done"

Clears all of the computer's activities with a status of Done.

Note:  This command applies only when the Automatically clear rows with status of Done check box is unchecked in the Site Administration Properties dialog box, on the Activities tab.

Clear "Error"

Clears all of a computer's activities with a status of Error.

Pause

Pauses or interrupts the processing of an activity.

While the Activity processing is paused, the computers’ statuses do not change, so you can look at the activity and its computers in a fixed state.

You can then select Continue to continue processing or Clear All to clear all of the activity's rows.

Continue

Continues a paused activity.
